Activities :
Our Westbank Lions Club was chartered in 1967. Over the past thirty-nine years it has supported many projects, both fundraising and charitable.
Our Clubs two major ongoing projects are the operation of the Westbank Community Centre, which it has done since 1976 through its Society known as the Westbank Lions Community Development Society, and the operation of the Lions Manor on Gellatly Road. This complex consists of forty suites for seniors with limited means, which the club has operated since 1988 through its Society known as the Westbank Lions Seniors Housing Society. In 2005, the latter Society added an additional forty unit extended care independent living complex.
